Beginnings

GOLF & TURF MANAGEMENT, S.L., founded on September 2011, is made up of professionals from JERSA. This company began its operations in 1978, and was dedicated initially to general gardening and to the implementation of irrigation and drainage systems and planting of green areas in general. These professionals gradually specialized in the construction of soccer fields and golf courses, and undertook all the necessary work in each construction phase: Surveying, earthmoving, shaping, drainage, irrigation, construction of greens, tees, bunkers, construction of lakes, pumping stations, finish shaping, planting, gardening, and reforestation. Having this accumulated experience with them, they decided to get together and found GTM, after proudly building over 64 golf courses and a hundred soccer fields. Our work with nearly all design teams in our country, like Ballesteros, Olazábal, Jack Nicklaus, Dave Thomas, Stirling & Martin, Gary Player, Robert Trent Jones, John Jacobs, and Piñero, among many others, has helped us to understand the different philosophies each one applies when designing golf courses. We are therefore able to adapt to the shapes of wildly different terrains and the most varied building concepts by bringing out what we feel to be the best of each in every one of our jobs. GTM has currently acquired the brand JERSA as a collaborator. JERSA is owned by Gabriel Gallegos Navarro, one of the country's most outstanding personalities in the sector, who contributes his know-how in the international market and provides us with great and extensive experience on a national level.
